Recharge your batteries this bank holiday with Soak&Sleep (weather dependent)

It may not feel like August, but this weekend we’ve got a bank holiday, and here in the Soak&Sleep offices we couldn’t be more excited *cheering*! A whole day to spend how we wish, whether that be disco dancing, a long walk, or just spending the whole Monday wrapped up in bed under your Soak&Sleep duvet, we say go for it…you deserve it.

Staying in & recharging

With the weather at Soak&Sleep HQ in Guildford making us not want to reach for the bucket and spade, the general consensus is to take it easy and spend most of the time indoors – perfect duvet Day weather (why not treat yourself to a new one and make the most of it – take a look at our duvets). Why not go the whole hog and have breakfast in bed, don’t leave your cosy cosy spot. Need some inspiration of what to rustle up then head to this piece

Even better, the X-Factor is back! A perfect excuse to shut the curtains, dim the lights, dress to impress in comfy nightwear, and snuggle up under a cosy blanket  – don’t forget the snacks!

Going out

August bank holiday weekend in London only means on thing…Notting Hill Carnival of course! Keep your fingers crossed for sunshine, and head down to dance the day away – you may need a silk eye mask for the next morning! We’ve created a Pinterest board to celebrate the carnival.

If we are blessed with hot weather this weekend, throw a picnic in the back of the car and head down to Soak&Sleep at the beach. The whole family will love nothing more, then sand, sea, sandwiches, and games. Pack a BBQ, stay for dinner and miss the traffic home. No beach day is complete without a Soak&Sleep towel – try our beach towels, or our lightweight fouta towels to avoid soggy bags.

Ooo sand between our toes...bliss

Whatever the weather, we hope you enjoy your bank holiday weekend.

Got any other tips or want to share your plans with us – then get in touch! We would love to hear from you 🙂
