We’ve teamed up with Norwegian blogger Hege in France, whose passion for interior design started at a very early age. From a business background, and after graduating with a degree in Human Resource management, Hege decided to follow her passion of design, and started her blog about DIY four years ago. Since then there is no stopping Hege, as she has worked for numerous companies, appeared in newspapers, magazines, books and on large international design blogs, and has recently taken it one step further by launching home and lifestyle shop S2 20. Also lucky for us, she is the UK Pinbassador for Pinterest, so who better to team up with to host a brilliant competition to win a £150 Soak&Sleep credit to spend (just in time for Christmas!).
First things first, we posed some important questions to Hege all about sleep, relaxation and of course, being nosy and asking her bedroom style.
We spend a third of our lives in bed – what is your bedroom style?
I prefer my bedroom to be really simple and uncluttered. I’m not saying it’s like that all the time, but I try to keep it tidy. It’s light, nordic and minimal.
What was your inspiration behind each of the moodboards you created?
I wanted to create a welcoming feel. A place where guests can take it easy and relax.
What would be your ultimate moment of relaxation?
A hot bath before going to bed. I always sleep better after a hot bath.
Your favourite breakfast in bed is…
Coffee and croissants.
Early night or lazy morning?
I would prefer a lazy morning, not that it happens very often these days.
What are your top tips for getting the best night’s sleep?
A good mattress and a nice pillow. That and the hot bath I mentioned earlier.
